Once we chat about how to responsibly and passively interact with turtles and other sea life, we will walk down to the beach and hit the water! We will take it nice and slow so you have a few moments to get accustomed to your gear and you feel confident enough to enjoy the underwater world. This is a natural sea grass bed, which is why we are blessed with turtles :) Please do remember, however, that this is a completely wild experience and we could never guarantee the sighting of a wild animal. 99 times out of 100 we see several baby and adult turtles per tour! We will meet on the docks of East Boston where we will tear into and slurp dozens of local oysters, harvested by our oyster farmer friends, while looking over the harbor and skyline. You will learn how to properly shuck an oyster and will go home with a shucking knife of your own. The memories will be in the details. We will set up in "flash-mob" "pop-up" style along the water. Nuestra experiencia, comienza en nuestra comunidad, Chemuyil, donde nos prepararemos para nuestra aventura. Estamos ubicados a: - 25 minutos aprox. desde Tulum. - 40 minutos aprox. desde Playa del Carmen. - 2 hrs desde Cancún. Si no cuentas con auto o algún medio de transporte para llegar a mi comunidad, no te preocupes, con mucho gusto te explicaré la mejor forma de llegar a nosotros. En compañía de un guía local y en una bicicleta te llevaremos a conocer la selva y tres cenotes que nos han visto crecer, donde hemos aprendido a nadar y donde guardamos muchos secretos de nuestra vida. El desgaste físico en bicicleta es mínimo ya que pasamos más tiempo nadando que en la bicicleta. Durante toda la actividad pedaleamos aprox. 25 minutos en total. La distancia de cenote a cenote son aprox. entre 5-10 minutos. Esta experiencia dura un aprox. de 5 horas. Nosotros nos adaptamos al ritmo de cada grupo y a sus necesidades. Visitamos lugares significativos como los monumentos de Benkos Biohó (el fundador de la ciudad) y Kid Pambelé (Campeón Mundial de Boxeo) y el Patio de Medicina Tradicional, entre otros. Después de eso, concluimos con un glorioso almuerzo tradicional. También aprendemos algunas palabras en su idioma mientras te contamos la historia, por lo que podrás saludar a los nativos y recibirás, no solo su saludo, sino también sus sonrisas. Bienvenidos! El primer paso será mostrarte los ingredientes que puedes encontrar en los hogares oaxaqueños, una de las ventajas de nuestra experiencia es que contamos con un jardín con hierbas y chiles orgánicos. Elaboramos quesillo y queso fresco todos los días. Mi hijo Baldo compartirá su conocimiento acerca del mezcal, una cata en la cual podrás tomar degustar tanto como gustes, además de agua fresca, refrescos y jugos. Botanas? Claro que si, pero lo tienes que hacer al estilo oaxaqueño, lo que significa gusanos, chicatanas y chapulines. ¿Has escuchado algo sobre el metate y como se hacen las tortillas a mano? además de tortillas elaboraremos tetelas, memelas y tlayudas. Haremos diferentes salsas utilizando ingredientes de la temporada todo cocinado sobre comal, leña y brasas al carbón. El mole es un emblema de la cocina oaxaqueña y cocinaremos uno de los 7 moles utilizando el metate. No te puedes ir sin probar el mole negro, chocolate de agua, café de olla, nieves y un rico pastel. Todos participaran en los procesos, cortando, moliendo, elaborando salsas y por supuesto comiendo, recuerda cuando visitas una casa en Oaxaca tienes que venir con el estomago vacío. Enjoy the true outdoors with an easy 3/4 - 1 mile private nature hike hosted by a pack of loose, well trained German Shepherd Dogs. The hike starts at our farm in coastal Maine and wanders through a network of trails winding through a natural wild Maine forest. You will be hiking with a large pack of (5 to 12) loose german shepherd dogs of various ages who will want attention along the way! On the walk there are soft forest trails, sometimes mud puddles and slippery footing. Throughout our adventure you will learn tips on hiking with a pack of German Shepherds the way they communicate and what their body language means. Once we return there will be bathroom facilities, snacks and beverages. We will also talk about how we raise and imprint our young shepherds and prepare them as family companions. Your hosts for the nature walk will be either Jennifer, Katie, or both! We began offering pack walks at our open house for our German Shepherd Breeding program, and because of the enthusiasm and popularity, we decided to host this event through Airbnb. This hike is a carefully selected pack of our own German Shepherds. We do not allow visiting dogs to join on the pack hike. Children under two years old are FREE
