Depending on which fruits are in season, we will taste around 25 different varieties. In addition, we will walk the market’s venues which includes the outdoor floral area. Finally, there will be a fruit juice tasting that goes along with a traditional snack, the arepa. We will go through the emerald and jewelry district to learn about the history of the precious metals and stones and its influence in Colombian culture. We will take a look at the emerald market to see the different minerals and qualities. Then we will work on your new ring, where you will decide all! the design, the stone and material, by the personal advisory of a orfebre (jewelry master) who teaches you how to do every single step.

In this oportunity we do our own Coffee Farm Experience.We gonna take you to the montains behind bogota to the really local town of choachi. From there we'll drive a few minutes more untill we get to our organic coffee farm, there we'll meet local farmers and with them we have a traditional colombian breackfast, also we'll talk about what it means to be an organic coffee farm and the daily tasks of a farmer. Latter we take our cocos for pick coffee, we get inside the plantation and we learn about the coffee in a organic farm. We'll walk around the farm and take in the more than 8,000 coffee plants, we'll learn how to hand-pick coffee and process it; also depending of the season may we cant collect coffee but we will rousted coffe them in a really native and artisanal way. We go under the local fruits trees, the idea is to feel the coffee culture pretty close and discover the colombian coffee world. We'll process the coffee and end drinking more coffee in a diferent way of preparation, we go to te town just for eat the best traditional lunch and in the way back to the city, making brief stops to take pictures of the Paramos ecosystems and the picturesque Bogotá city skyline. Inclusions: Breakfast, lunch, private transportation, coffee teasting, coffee bag to take home and a professional tour guide. La actividad se desarrollará del siguiente modo: 1. Bogotá - Imperio (lugar de la experiencia). Por carro, duración (1h30 min). 2. Recorrido por las pesebreras. Conocerás un poco de las tradiciones de está región acompañadas de una taza de café colombiano. En está parte, podrás conocer de cerca al caballo colombiano y probar diferentes variedades de cafés colombianos. 3. Paseo a caballo por los caminos de la finca. Este es un punto dónde se avistan distintos tipos de aves y se cuenta con un paisaje espectacular a la Laguna del Sisga desde los Andes. 4. Almuerzo tradicional colombiano. Disfruta de la gastronomía local desde una estufa con fogones a leña. 5. Jugar Tejo. Juego tradicional de la región y patrimonio colombiano. 6. Welcome to my Colombian cooking class! During this experience, I will open the doors of my home where you will immerse yourself in a typical Colombian food meal in an informal environment. I will start off by showing you the different types of fruits we have in Colombia, and then you will be able to learn all the tips and tricks to make the most delicious buñuelos, arepas, pan de yucas, and much more typical dishes like ajiaco or fish with coconut rice! You will discover the secrets of my dad (who was a baker) and how we eat these delicious plates in Bogotá. I will welcome you, and you will wear one of the multiple aprons I have been collecting. I will guide you through the whole process of making these delicious, savory and sweet dishes! Of course, the menu can change depending on dietary restrictions and guests' preferences. We will cook and bake together using fresh, local ingredients, and we will have a cup of hot chocolate or a cup of canelazo (a typical Colombian alcoholic drink). We will cook in my kitchen, and once finished, we will set the table and enjoy the meal altogether. Please bring the best attitude and the best smile because I believe that what is made with happiness tastes better!

Más que un restaurante, Andrés Carne de Res es una experiencia cultural completa que combina la gastronomía con el arte, la música y la danza. Ubicado en Chía, a pocos kilómetros de Bogotá, este icónico establecimiento ofrece una amplia variedad de platos colombianos, desde su famosa carne a la parrilla hasta deliciosas arepas y empanadas, todo acompañado de música en vivo y una decoración ecléctica y colorida. We will meet near the "Core of Bogotá" and make our way to the chosen location, which is the most vibrant neighborhood in the city, a place where we will find many spots to capture, in a natural and relaxed way, the bond you share as a couple and/or the inner shinning and personality that, you as an individual, want me to translate into professional grade photographs. Once there I'll provide my guidance and expertise to get lovely pictures of you with ease. Whithin a week after the completion of the photo shoot, I will send you an online link where you can find the best (12 to 14 images for those who attend alone and 24 to 26 images for those who may come in couples) in High Quality. Sometimes it may be rainy in Bogotá, so re-scheduling is a possibility unless you want the pictures under some rain (which I don't have any problem to do so). Solo travelers and couples (all kinds) are welcome to the photoshoot, no matter from where you come, your civil status, your beliefs or the color of your skin!
