Tour por una granja pequeña en la isla de Skye
We will meet on the Croft, beside the workshop. Signage says ‘shop’. Your tour will begin by introducing you to our animals, sheep, Highland cows and donkeys. You will receive a warm Highland welcome and will gain insight into the daily routines of crofting and the life of our sheep and how we produce ethical wool. We will then enter my workshop where you will gain a brief history of fleece preparation, hand spinning, the reasons and history behind our uniquely hand knitted designs including our famous bespoke fisherman’s Gansey. You will have an opportunity to see our products and understand about Croft sustainability here on the Isle of Skye. A humerous story telling experience for everyone. Other things to note: Bring waterproof clothing as the weather can change quickly. The experience is not suitable for small children. As we are a working Croft, and not a petting farm, we cannot guarantee you will be able to touch any of the animals.

Whisky con historia
Let us start by saying the whisky is optional, drink alternatives are available and the cost of the whisky is not included in the £15.50. We do this to make the event as inclusive as possible for drinker, non drinker, whisky lovers and whisky sceptics alike. The whisky or drink alternatives can be added-on on the day. We meet just off the iconic Royal Mile inside a café/bar called Hot Toddy. We have the entire downstairs area reserved for us, ensuring lots of space for the group. During the course of two hours we will sample four outstanding Single Malt Scotch Whiskies from the four major whisky producing regions of Scotland. We will discus some of the history of Scotland and explore the reasons as to why whisky is now so ingrained as a staple of Scottish culture and we have some great tales from Scotland and the world of whisky to share with you. Other things to note This tour departs promptly and we can not wait for guests who are late. Feel free to turn up at Hot Toddy earlier to enjoy some food or drink before the event starts. Guests joining at 5pm or 7:30pm can also add a traditional Haggis dinner to their experience for an additional £14per person. This can be enjoyed in the venue upstairs, after the experience. People under the age of 18 are not permitted on this tour and exceptions can not be made I'm afraid.
Cata de whisky con música e historia
During your Whisky Tasting Experience you will be taken on a journey sampling five of the finest Malt Whiskies the Highlands of Scotland has to offer whilst learning about the rich, emotional and powerful history of Inverness and the Highlands, including the Jacobite Rebellion, The Battle of Culloden and the Highland Clearances. Your host will also entertain you with traditional songs and music synonymous with Highland history and Scotch Whisky. Scotch Malt Whisky, history, traditional music and craic, you only have to bring the missing ingredient....... Yourselves!! Be prepared to laugh, cry, clap your hands, tap your feet, maybe even sing along and the best part, enjoy the warm glowing feeling that the whisky naturally provides!!

Visita Belfast con un guía local
At Belfast City Hall you will be provided with an audio headset and receiver so you don’t miss a word. You’ll visit the City Hall before walking to the Peace Walls, approximately 40 minutes. You’ll receive a full, detailed and objective commentary to provide you with the historical and political background to ‘the Troubles’. Please note that a good to fluent command of English is required. Stopping at the International Wall, you’ll get a chance to view the political murals before you visit the Walls. There is ample time for photographs. You’ll return to Belfast City Centre, where you visit the Cathedral Quarter. You’ll meander in and out of historic entries, see the sights and see what’s hidden in plain sight. You’ll learn about our radical history, and the culture and art that makes Belfast such a vibrant and exciting city. You'll take in the City Centre & Albert Clock before the tour finishes in a historic church. You walk inside, you walk back to the late 1700s to a time of revolution and radicalism. Belfast is a city of contrasts, and the tour is designed to reflect that. Expect to be entertained, engaged and informed. The pace of this tour is moderate. You will walk approximately 3.5 miles in 2.5 to 3 hours. We sometimes have 4 seasons in one day, so dress appropriately.

Da un paseo conmigo en Pendle Hill
Join me on a walk on Pendle hill which at its summit is 557 meters high above sea level on an isolated hill in the Pennines. We start our journey at Barley Lane laybay (free parking) where we begin our climb. This circular walk will take us up to the summit then through Ogden Clough Valley to both upper and lower Ogden reservoir. On our walk we will be discussing the history behind Pendle and the 3 main events which took place in the 17th century Richard Towneley's barometer experiment (1661). The vision of George Fox (1652) which led to the foundation of the Quaker movement and the most infamous Pendle witch trials (1612). The background to the events of these trials are of 2 rival families the Demdike and the Chattox families which we will learn more about. As we leave the valley behind us we drop down into witches wood along Ogden clough only for those who are brave enough. Here we will take in the history of the what happened to the pendle hill witches. We then travel onto the village of Barley where we can stop for refreshments and food and discuss the walk so far. We will then continue on our walk through Barley passing the Pendle Hill Cauldron snack bar before returning back to our stating point to finish our walk. This walk takes around 4.5 hours and is a steady walk allowing for pictures, questions and stops.
