You'll never forget the first moment you see the 12 Apostles: giant stone monoliths, carved by the raging ocean over millions of years. We'll tell you the story of how these remarkable features evolved. And this journey isn't just about the destination: the Great Ocean Road is Australia's best road trip with rolling hills, lush rainforest and spectacular coastal scenery. We also visit a number of the other features this area has to offer including Gibson Steps, Loch Ard Gorge (upper lookout as beach is currently closed) and the Razorback. We'll make additional stops in: Apollo Bay for lunch - wide range of food available and option to have lunch on the beach! Kennett River where wild koalas hang out Sheoak Waterfalls Lorne, a classic Aussie surf town The 12 Apostles in Port Campbell National Park are almost 200kms from Melbourne so all trips out there involve several hours of driving. Tour de los gusanos luminosos y animales nocturnos
Age 7 and up. Good mobility needed! An unforgettable, educational experience visiting the unique glow worms after a short walk through World Heritage listed forest and rainforest. We will meet at sunset, spending a little time introducing ourselves and safety briefing. Then as the stars begin to appear, with the use of torches, we begin our 20 minute walk to the overhanging cave and waterfall, with the possibility of seeing our amazing nocturnal wildlife. Possums, gliders, owls and bats to name just a few. Another truly amazing encounter, only within the first 3 weeks of summer is the chance of fireflies. We will spend 30 minutes to an hour in the overhang, behind the waterfall learning about these incredible glowing larvae and why they glow. The track is mostly in good condition, though there are some stairs and heavily eroded sections therefore a medium fitness level is required. Glow worms are extremely sensitive to light and sound so we will ask our clients to respect this and there will be a 5 minute educational talk around this before entering the cave. Smoking is strictly prohibited on the tour. Torches are supplied for everyone on this experience. Minimal impact is very high on our list of priorities and instructions will be given on how to achieve this. We ask our clients to adhere to these rules.

Your tour, led by Nathan Stewart, a professional Doreen based beekeeper, will include suiting up in protective gear, lighting a bee smoker, and spending two hours as real-life Beekeeper. Initially, Nathan will give you some tips on what to look for inside a hive including how to spot the Queen and where to look to potentially witness the birth of a new worker bee. Then, together we’ll lift the lid of a busy hive, watch bees at work creating honey, pull out a frame of honey ready for extraction, and get up close with more than 100,000 bees! After we carefully close the lid, we’ll sample some of the honey direct from the hives while enjoying a refreshing honey tonic compliments of Karen, Managing Director of Rivers of Yarrambat (who is also a passionate beekeeper herself). La época dorada de Kings Cross: crímenes de la ciudad del pecado
ON THIS UNIQUE EXPERIENCE: You'll uncover the notorious secrets & scandals of Sydney's historic red-light strip with a professional guide & storyteller. Kings Cross: once a bourgeois neighbourhood of colonial mansions looking over the harbour, this inner city suburb began to transform into Sydney's late-night playground of vice and entertainment by the the 1920's & '30s. Amidst the bustling bohemian streets & neon lights, razor-wielding gangs lurked in dark alleys and crime-queens Kate Leigh & Tilly Devine battled for underworld supremacy over the sly-grog, dope and sex trade. By the 1960s & '70s, the Golden Mile of Kings Cross buzzed with local & international revellers who flocked to its infamous stretch of nightclubs, strip-shows & go-go bars. Dubbed in the media as Sin City, the growing underbelly of the area only increased as colourful club owners paid off the cops and installed organised criminal empires. By 1975 the neighbourhood was even embroiled in one of Sydney's most scandalous cold-case murder mysteries. This tour will bring to life the local characters, visiting rock-stars & forgotten flavours the Cross's Golden Age. It will reveal the quirky & glamorous Art Deco street-scapes of Potts Point; discuss the contemporary cafe & club culture; and delve into the controversial history of lust, luxuriance & long-nights that left its mark on so many, for so long.

I'll send you home with recipes so you can recreate these dishes at home. Other things to note Bring a shopping bag, pen and notebook, camera, cooler bag, and empty stomach.

Tour resplandeciente: descubre el esplendor de la naturaleza
Glowing things in nature are among Tasmania's most spectacular natural wonders. Pink-glowing possums, green-glowing wallabies, blue-glowing sugar gliders, red or pink-glowing owls, and all different colours of glowing flowers and fungi. And we may even see an endangered bandicoot or a platypus! Let’s go explore in this truly unforgettable experience! I am an enthusiastic scientist, and I'll share the glowing world with you through fascinating stories and I’ll show you how to get great photos to delight your friends! We will explore a safe forested parkland near the city in search of glowing marsupials, birds, flowers, and other flora and fauna. The long and narrow shape of this splendid park naturally concentrates the animals, and because it is frequented by walkers and cyclists, the animals are less timid than in more remote settings, allowing us to watch them. I’ll supply the ultraviolet (UV) torches and the natural history narrative, while nature will supply the wonder and awe. I'll keep an eye on the likelihood of the aurora, sea sparkles (marine bioluminescence or “bio”), and ghost mushrooms, and if they are likely to be visible nearby and spectacularly strong, we may have the option to go see them too! Please note that the tour generally runs around 1.5-2 hours, depending on how much time we spend observing; please tell me if you have time limitations.
