Ewings has the most beautiful view of the Kern River. It sits right atop the river, and you can see rafters and people kayaking if you go during the day. They have gourmet food, a full bar, and an upscale atmosphere.

My family and I loved visiting this center. The volunteers were
so friendly! We felt very welcomed. They taught us so much about the natives that once lived in the area. There is original art available for purchase, as well as many other interesting things to look at. If you time your visit right you may even be able to participate in the sweat lodge ritual!

Go back in time at the Kern Valley Museum. This place holds so much history about the area. Very fun and informative for the whole family!
